Ikon

 

Ikon are revered as one of the most successful Goth Rock Bands. Valerios was part of the band during the late 90s and early into the new century. He recorded 2 EPs plus one live album with the band as well as playing a number of shows in Australia.

 

Ikon and Valerios' relationship started with the release of the first Candles and Intrigue compilation from Left as in Sinister while Valerios was scouting for bands for the CD. A few years later Chris McCarter and Valerios ran into eachother at a mutual friends party in a building which was a house party in a renovated old stable of the French Consulate in Melbourne. Valerios was playing a solo show on the night. Chris was in the need of bassist for some upcoming releases and shows and the pair got to work recording and rehearsing a new line up for the band.
